Video Description: For the first time, Yemeni Americans in Hamtramck city organized a rally to support the Youth Peaceful Revolution in Yemen. On the afternoon of Sunday the 20th of March, 2011, Memorial Park in Hamtramck city witnessed hundreds of Yemeni Americans and freedom supporters protesting the current regime in Yemen. The Yemeni and American flags waving, signs being held high expressing support to the peaceful protesters and sympathy to those who have given their lives during the uprising. The event featured speeches by community leaders, poems, and revolutionary songs. Between each segment, rally attendees chanted in support of the revolution and called for the immediate removal of the current regime. The event also received a noticeable local media coverage. Organizers mentioned that they will continue with the efforts to support the current peaceful revolution and are planning to attend the next protest on Saturday, March 26 in Washington D.C.
