KORZENIWSKI

Michael Edward Korzeniewski, 46, died October 16, 2008.

Mr. Korzeniewski was a Hamtramck resident.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Dorothy; and brother, Matthew.

Mr. Korzeniewski is survived by his daughter, Kalie; son, Joshua; brothers, Tim (Kimberly) and Daniel (Lisa); and nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were made by Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, and funeral services will be October 25 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will be at Meadowcrest Cemetery.

KURPIEWSKI

Delores Kurpiewski, 79, died October 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; daughter, Adrian Mastej; and sister, Norma Jean Stipich.

Mrs. Kurpiewski is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (Mark) Kerby, Karen (Robert) Wendorf, Michelene (John) Harper, Debora (Richard) Martin and Karen Bogardus; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Eddie) Haws and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were made by Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, and funeral services will be October 22, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

NEVEN

Mary E. Neven, 87, died October 15, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sr. She operated Neven’s Catering at Polish festivals in the metro area.

Mrs. Neven is survived by her son, Robert (Helen).

Funeral arrangements were made by Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, and funeral services were held at SS. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

ZAHARCHUK

Hope Zarachuk (nee Tischuk), 98, died October 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Paluschuk and Thomas Zarachuk; and son, John (Geraldine) Palaschuk.

Mrs. Zarachuk is survived by her daughter, Lillian (Walter) Cheston; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were made by Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, and visitation will be October 22, 3 to 9 p.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper St., St, Clair Shores.

Funeral services will be October 23, 10 a.m., at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 20484 Anglin at Eight Mile Rd.. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
