So much for Gordon's campaign promise to 'take the middle road'

As noted in last week’s issue of The Citizen (9/3/08), Councilmember Cathie Gordon verbally attacked three fellow councilmembers and the mayor, immediately after the ethics ordinance was adopted.

This has become her regular approach since her council debut last January.

I would like to remind the residents of Hamtramck that during last fall’s campaign for office, Ms.”Ladzinski” Gordon  promised them in speaking and writing that she would “take the middle of the road” in terms of the great political divide here, indicating that a new unity would best serve our interests.

It would be wise for betrayed residents to question Councilmember Gordon’s word in city matters.
